Tin Can Rally

Tin Can Rally is what happens when someone remembers being a kid racing toy cars across the floor. Tracks wind over books, around mugs, through cereal boxes. It's charming before you've even started a race.

The driving is arcadey and forgiving — you drift by holding a corner and the car just goes with it. No fiddly tuning menus, no fuel meters, just vibes and boost pads. Some later tracks get genuinely tricky with tight ramps you'll replay a dozen times.

There's a couch multiplayer mode that turned my flat into a shouting match, which is high praise. If you want a racing game with zero pretension, start here.
